Meanwhile, in October 2013, the Vatican's Supreme Court appointed the Pope Emeritus to its official "judge of law" and stated of the matter, "The question of Rome being seen to be a place for peace and tolerance, does that not make it a place for the Holy See?"

Pope Francis has not ruled out his Vatican visit after his last visit in 2008. He has said that his office should consider what options "are available to the people in the next decade, within the next two years to address the issues" and the Church's role in the world and the future of the future.

Last week, Pope Francis also said: "The United States has long been our friend, our friend and for this matter, in other words, we offer our highest and most sincere thanks."

On Tuesday, the Pope released a series of statements at the World Council of Churches and of their bishops addressing a wide range of issues.

He has said that "no one can deny or excuse the need for prayer to deal with the complexities of contemporary circumstances. Indeed, the common prayer one can think of is and is based on the sacred letter of faith. In the United States alone there are more than 50 denominations, all with an essential pastoral, pastoral, pastoral response that is fully supported by all the branches" that have the power to address complex social, moral and economic issues.

He has also indicated his preference for the use of spiritual materials in the Church, a move that he acknowledges shows deep faith and a desire to make progress towards this goal.

On Thursday, Pope Francis gave a speech in which he called for a special focus on those who "are not connected to God, whose bodies are not separated", and called on the Catholic faithful "to use our own bodies and our lives to provide spiritual leadership for our shared future. Our communion is one that is more sacred than anyone's flesh. One that should strengthen the connection between the body and life and should serve us in many ways and within different ways."

The two are the latest in an ongoing series of news items on the Pope and other high-level voices from his papacy about the current state of U.S. relations with China. On the subject of the Obama administration's policy toward China, where the Pope's role includes meeting with American leaders to discuss the possibility of a nuclear deal and China's decision to allow U.S.-made ballistic missiles towards Chinese territory, Reuters reported.

  1. How much longer can we keep up this lefty bullsh*t we need to stay strong to our values.

  2. I can’t agree more, as my brother went on to become a volunteer in Syria, fighting alongside Syrian moderate opposition versus Assad – and died. All because US did not stop Assad in 2011-2012.
